Giving Back - Odyssey Group 2022 Annual Report

Giving back to the communities in which our employees live and work is a core component of Odyssey’s culture. Since 2007, the Odyssey Group Foundation and its business affiliates have pledged over $70 million to more than 450 charities around the world.

In 2022, charitable donations totaled $2.7 million, and these funds were directed to charitable organizations focused on healthcare, food, shelter, community and human services, education, disaster relief and cancer research, including our long-term giving partners listed below.

The Foundation’s most notable pledge was $10 million to Stamford Health towards construction of the Odyssey Group Breast Center, to address the growing need for breast cancer treatment. The Foundation’s relationship with Stamford Health dates back to 2008 when it provided $2 million to fund a da Vinci surgical system, which was followed by a $10 million pledge to build the Odyssey Group Emergency Department in the new Stamford Hospital, which opened in 2016.

Other new endeavors in 2022 included contributions to Blood Cancer UK in support of the Matthew Wilson Myeloma Fund and to the International Committee of the Red Cross, supporting humanitarian efforts in the Ukraine region.
